The Cheltenham Festival Preview Dinner has now sold out. Our dining room will be open every evening – including Monday 11th and Tuesday 12th March – for a full dinner service post races, or you can enjoy updates from the day by the warmth of our fires, alongside food from our bar menu and drinks from the bar.
The Cheltenham Festival is one of the most important dates in the racing calendar and a highlight of the National Hunt season at The Wild Rabbit.
On Tuesday 5th March we will be celebrating the Festival by hosting a very special preview dinner with well-known faces from the local world of racing.
Guests will be seated in our dining room at 7pm, with each table hosted by trainers, jockeys, breeders and owners to discuss the hotly anticipated week ahead and racing tips. Our experts include trainer and Telegraph racing columnist Charlie Brooks, trainers Charlie Longsdon, Fergal O’Brien, Kim Bailey, Martin Keighley and Graeme McPherson.
Our Head Chef Nathan Eades has carefully curated a seasonal menu for guests to enjoy during the evening’s festivities. We will begin with Chef’s snacks and The Wild Rabbit homemade bread and salted Daylesford butter.
Next on the menu is Daylesford Market Garden salad leaves, creamed curds, pickled walnut dressing and croutons.
For the main course guests will enjoy ox cheek bourguignon and potato puree with Daylesford organic greens.
To end the evening, Nathan has created a decadent 72% dark chocolate delice with a refreshing passion fruit sorbet to accompany.
This is the first Cheltenham Festival preview dinner to be hosted by The Wild Rabbit and a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the build up to the week ahead alongside award-wining food and a celebratory evening.
The evening costs £65 per head plus drinks and we recommend that you book early to avoid disappointment. Should you have any dietary requirements, please make the team aware at the time of booking.
