We are delighted to launch four new self-catered cottages located in Kingham Village, joining our existing ten cottages.

Drawing inspiration from the surrounding Cotswold countryside, The Bantam, Hatchling, Nestling and Orpington Cottages sleep between two and six people.

The cottages’ country aesthetic has a contemporary finish, and they range from cosy boltholes to a spacious open plan living space perfect for a family. Each cottage is warm and welcoming, and makes the idyllic base to explore the Cotswolds.

The architectural framework of the cottages has been exposed; oak beams and Cotswold stone walls are now celebrated, reflecting an appreciation of the craftsmanship of the original building.

We adopted traditional skills, sympathetic to the heritage of the cottages and where possible repurposed beams, oak floorboards and doors alongside reclaimed and recycled materials. Thoughtful designs choices, such as limewashed rendered walls, perfectly complement exposed brickwork.

The interiors are a combination of bespoke contemporary furniture with natural linen upholstery and antique occasional chairs and side tables.

The surrounding countryside is referenced throughout each cottage, with hazel wood clothes hooks crafted from fallen trees on the Daylesford estate. From further afield, horn handles from the red deer herd on our sister estate in Wootton continue the harmonious natural palette, drawing nature indoors.

Each cottage is unique, with abstract artwork beautifully contrasted with contemporary design.

Roaring log inglenook fires in winter and terrace gardens to spill out onto in warmer months make these cottages the perfect retreat. Thick sisal rugs both complete the natural palette and ensure a practical country lifestyle. The kitchens are equipped with Daylesford kitchenware for you to cook your produce gathered from the farmshop.

With staycations at an all-time high, the new cottages welcome guests to experience the very best of award-winning food, culinary masterclasses, spa retreats and the beauty of the surrounding countryside on our doorstep.

The new cottages will be available from April, prices start from £325 per cottage, for a minimum two-night stay. Click here for availability.
