Terms & Conditions
Check in at The Wild Rabbit is between 3pm and 10pm. We are able to check in guests outside these times but only with prior notification. Although we do our best to accommodate all arrivals, it is the guest’s responsibility to advise us of an arrival outside the check-in time frame. Check out on the day of departure is 11am.
We provide linen bathrobes for guests to use during their stay. If, for some reason, they do find a way into your bags on departure, a charge of £140 will be made to your credit card.
An additional cleaning cost will be applied in the event of damage to linen and or furnishings. Any additional damage to property within The Wild Rabbit will be at cost to the guest. Please refrain from using bathroom towels and bedroom linen for cleaning dogs and walking boots – a cleaning cloth is provided in each room for this purpose.
The minibar is operated on an honesty system. Any items found to be consumed after departure will be charged for.
The room rate includes VAT and breakfast, which comprises of tea or coffee, fresh juice, toast, pastries and conserves, preserved fruit, porridge and cheese. A menu of cooked breakfast items will also be offered.
All of the rooms have a single occupancy room rate other than the Beehive, Hedgehog and the Cotswolds Cottages (No. 9 and No.10). Single occupancy rate is not available on Fridays and Saturdays.
We recommend that a reservation is placed for lunch and dinner, especially during busy periods and in particular at the weekends.
Restaurant Reservations Cancellation Policy
As hosts and restaurateurs we strive to make the process of booking a table with us as simple as possible. Unfortunately, recent experiences have made it necessary for us to introduce a cancellation policy: for parties above four people, we now ask for credit card details to secure all restaurant bookings. You can cancel your reservation up to 24 hours prior to your booking time. For late cancellations and no-shows you may incur a £30 fee per person, should we be unable to sell your table to other diners.
Your final restaurant bill will be subject to a 10% discretionary service charge.
Bringing Your Own Wine
Guests wishing to bring their own wine to consume in the restaurant may do so by prior consultation with the Inn manager. A corkage charge will be made of £20 per bottle for wine, £25 per bottle for sparkling wine and £30 per bottle for champagne.
Hedgehog is a family room that can accommodate two adults and up to two children from 1-12 years old. The layout includes one super king bed that can be split into two singles and a single four poster bed with a pull out divan.
The Beehive is a small, one up, one down cottage. Upstairs there is a super king double bed with ensuite bathroom, featuring separate bath and walk in shower. Downstairs there is a double sofa bed, a small court yard and private parking.
Cots with linen can be provided at an additional cost of £15 per stay.We welcome well behaved children of any age when accompanied by an adult in the restaurant and bar during lunchtime and dinner service. We offer a children’s menu.
We have two open courtyards located in the front and rear of the Inn for those who wish to smoke tobacco. All internal areas of The Wild Rabbit are non-smoking.
Car parking is on a first come first served basis. Additional car parking spaces can also be found in the village. Please be mindful not to block the bus stops and access to the village store. Parking is at your own risk.
We welcome dogs in our four ground floor dog friendly rooms: Mole, Hare, Otter and Owl.
If you are bringing two dogs we suggest you book our standard room Mole. We ask all dog owners to behave responsibly and pick up any dog litter. We will charge £15 per dog per night. Dog beds are provided on request and are free of charge. We are very happy to accept dogs in the bar area. However, dogs are not permitted in the restaurant.
All rooms without exception are paid for in full at time of booking
Room cancellation policy
The Wild Rabbit requires three days notice prior to arrival to be entitled to a full refund. With two days notice prior to arrival we are happy to move you’re booking to an alternative date. After this point you lose all entitlement.
Group and Festive bookings packages
(e.g. Christmas, Easter, New Year etc)
We require 21days notice of cancellation or part cancellation or any change to the dates of the original booking. All rooms are paid in full at the time of booking. This also applies to group bookings. For lunch or dinner reservations for groups of more than 8 we have our private dining room ‘’The Chicken Shed’’. Please call our team to request our current private dining brochure for room hire and menus.
Accepted Credit Cards
Accepted credits cards are Visa, Mastercard and Amex. Unfortunately we will not be accepting Diners International.
Accessibility for disabled patrons
Before you arrive
We always encourage telephone enquiries so that we can discuss your requirements before you arrive. Our staff are trained and ready to assist anyone with mobility problems or in a wheelchair.
We have a number of designated disabled parking spaces at the rear of the hotel. There is a shallow ramp which leads to our main dining room. Our well trained staff are available to help at all times.
Our restaurant is located on the ground floor. Full waiter service is provided at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Please let us know in advance if you have any special dietary needs.
Our menu is printed and can be verbally presented or provided in larger print if required.
There is ample moveable seating and if needed we have chairs without arms. The restaurant area is well-lit, with lots of natural daylight during daytime hours.
Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate wheelchair bound individuals or persons with reduced mobility in our bedrooms.
The Wild Rabbit has an accessible cloakroom next to the dining room, fitted with handrails for customers requiring wheel chair access or those with reduced mobility.
