Gather at The Wild Rabbit from 11:30am, for freshly brewed coffee and to meet your expert guide.
At 12pm we will begin our walk along bridleways and footpaths that weave through the Daylesford estate. Discover our native breeds, including our Pedigree British Friesian cows grazing in the pasture – their milk becoming the cream, butter and cheeses you’ll find in the farmshop and across our pubs – and Lleyn flock in the fields.
Along the way, you’ll spend time in our market garden, where rows of seasonal vegetables, salads and herbs are tended by hand and harvested daily for our pub kitchens.
Here, surrounded by the land that has produced your meal, enjoy a seasonal feast celebrating ingredients at their best – served with chilled sparkling wine in the open air.
After lunch, take time to explore at your own pace. Wander through Daylesford farmshop, explore further across the estate, or simply enjoy the beauty of the surroundings before making your way gently back towards The Wild Rabbit, Kingham.
End the day where it began, with a well-earned drink, an easy close to a summer afternoon spent outdoors, around the table, and close to the land.
