What are your standard check-in times?
Room Check-In: between 3pm and 10pm
Cottage Check-in: between 4pm and 10pm
Early check-in is not available due to The Wild Rabbit ensuring it has sufficient time to ensure the Accommodation is ready for your arrival.
If you expect to arrive considerably late in the evening then please let the Accommodation team know in advance so The Wild Rabbit know when to expect you.
What is your normal check out time? Can this be extended?
Room Departure: by 11am on the final morning of your stay
Cottage Departure: by 11am on the final morning of your stay
Late check-out may be possible but by prior arrangement with The Wild Rabbit only at its discretion and which will be subject to an additional fee of £100 per additional hour.
When do I pay for my booking?
All rooms without exception are paid for in full at time of booking.
What types of credit card do you accept as payment?
Payment may be made by any of the following card payments: Visa, MasterCard or Amex.
We do not accept Diners International.
What is your cancellation policy?
In the event that you cancel a Booking, a cancellation charge may be payable. Full details are set out in our Conditions of Booking.
Cancellations or alterations should be communicated to The Wild Rabbit team directly on 01608 658389 or firstname.lastname@example.org and The Wild Rabbit will do our best to accommodate your requirements subject to the cancellation charges mentioned.
Rooms and Cottages
Is breakfast included?
All rates for all accommodation, except for Little Owl Cottage, Bunny Cottage, Robin Cottage, Lark Cottage and Dove Cottage, includes VAT and breakfast, which comprises of tea or coffee, fresh juice, toast, pastries and conserves, preserved fruit, porridge and cheese. A cooked breakfast will also be offered.
Robin Cottage, Lark Cottage and Dove Cottage are self-catered, which means there is no meal plan included in the rate, however [continental] breakfast can be arranged at The Wild Rabbit at an additional charge of £15 per person per breakfast.
Breakfast is served in the dining room, Monday to Friday 7.30am to 10am, Saturday and Sunday 8.00am to 10.30am.
Can I bring my dog(s)?
We welcome dogs in the following dog friendly rooms: Mole, Hare, Otter, Owl, Beehive and Robin Cottage, Lark Cottage and Dove Cottage. If you are bringing two dogs we suggest you book our standard room Mole and Robin Cottage, Lark Cottage and Dove Cottage.
We charge £15 per dog per night which is payable upon check-in.
Dog beds are provided on request and are free of charge.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome on our front and back terrace, as well as the bar area. Dogs are not allowed in the main dining room save for assistance dogs. We ask all owners to behave responsibly and clean up after their dog.
Can I smoke in my room/cottage or around the grounds of the Wild Rabbit?
We have two open courtyards located in the front and rear of the Inn for those who wish to smoke tobacco. All internal areas of The Wild Rabbit are non-smoking.
Is there wireless internet available?
Wireless internet is available throughout The Wild Rabbit free of charge.
Families and Children
Do you accommodate for children?
Our family room is the Hedgehog room which can accommodate two adults and up to two children from 0-12 years old. The layout includes one super king bed that can be split into two singles and a single four poster bed with a pull out divan.
The Beehive is a small, one up, one down cottage. Upstairs there is a super king double bed with ensuite bathroom, featuring separate bath and walk in shower. Downstairs there is a double sofa bed, a small court yard and private parking.
In each of The Boar, The Rabbit, The Fox, The Deer, The Squirrel, The Badger and The Hedgehog a cot with linen (suitable for 0-2 years) can be provided at an additional cost of £15 per stay. Are children allowed in the restaurant? Do you offer a children’s menu?
We welcome well behaved children of any age when accompanied by an adult in the restaurant and bar during lunchtime and dinner service. We offer a children’s menu.
Restaurant and Bar
What are the restaurant and bar opening times?
The restaurant service times are as follows:
Wednesday to Saturday 12pm – 2.15pm
Sunday 12pm – 2.30pm
Wednesday to Friday 7pm – 9.15pm
Saturday 7pm – 9.30pm
Sunday 7pm – 9pm
We recommend that a reservation is placed for lunch and dinner, especially during busy periods and in particular at the weekends.
The bar is open Monday to Saturday 10am to midnight and Sunday 10am to 10.30pm.
Food can also be ordered from our bar menu from Wednesday through to Sunday during the restaurant service times.
Do I have to pay a deposit to secure my booking? Is there a cancellation fee?
For parties of four people or more, we now ask for credit card details to secure all restaurant bookings. You can cancel your reservation up to 24 hours prior to your booking time, free of charge.
For late cancellations or no-shows you may incur a £30 fee per person, should we be unable to sell your table to other diners.
Any reservation made for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve or for The Chicken Shed will require full payment at the time of the booking in order to secure the reservation. For these bookings we require twenty one days’ notice of cancellation, part cancellation or any change to the dates of the original booking.
Is there a service charge?
Your final restaurant bill will be subject to a 12.5% discretionary service charge.
Do you have a private dining/function room?
Next to the dining room is The Chicken Shed, which is a self-contained building that is perfectly suited for private dinners and parties. The contemporary room has a wood fired oven and its own team of dedicated staff. Parking and Travel
Does the Wild Rabbit have car parking facilities?
On site car parking is on a first come first served basis. Additional car parking spaces can also be found in the village. Please be mindful not to block the bus stops and access to the village store.
Is The Wild Rabbit easily accessible by train?
The village of Kingham sits on the main Hereford to London Paddington line, with a regular train service.
A taxi service to and from the station can be easily arranged, please contact The Wild Rabbit Reception team directly on 01608 658389 to arrange this.

Are there any local events or things to do in the area?
