The bedrooms above the pub have each been beautifully crafted with individual antiques and upholstery to provide the perfect backdrop to a countryside escape – a relaxed welcome complemented by thoughtful luxuries.

Our Classic rooms are located above the pub. The interiors are a combination of bespoke and antique furniture reupholstered with vintage fabrics and comfortable hand-sprung mattresses.
As the name suggests, some of our smaller rooms are perfect for couples, offering a cosy atmosphere. Each room combines excellent mattresses, sumptuous bed linen and cloudlike pillows.
Our largest rooms are located in the oldest part of the 18th century pub, either overlooking Church Street or nestled in the eves. Each characterful room retains many of its original features. Super king size beds provide the utmost comfort.
Alternatively, The Beehive is self-contained, with living room, wood burning stove, and an upstairs bed and bathroom. It has a private terrace and full access to the bar and dining room of The Wild Rabbit located opposite.
Our family room sleeps two adults and up to two small children. The Hedgehog offers a master bedroom and a children’s room with no separating door.
The wild animals found within a three-mile walk of the pub inspired the colour palette for each room; for example, we used bay-coloured bridle leather and rust-coloured hemp and linen for the Deer room, always beautifully contrasted with natural linen and white bed linen.
