From Wednesday 26th November, for a minimum of 2 nights
As autumn deepens and the landscape turns shades of ochre and russet, we invite you to join us for a quieter kind of thanksgiving. Beyond the crisp air and falling leaves, Thanksgiving is a moment to pause, to give thanks for the nourishments of the year – for the land, for those we love, and for the simple comforts we sometimes take for granted. While its roots lie in harvest traditions and shared gratitude, the idea is timeless: to gather around a generous table, to reflect, to connect, and to celebrate abundance.
Your cottage will be dressed with seasonal foliage, home‑grown squash from our market garden and a harvest wreath on the door. Opt for three or four nights where mornings are calm, evenings are filled with seasonal feasts, as the countryside shifts colour outside your window.
Enjoy champagne and canapés, followed by a Daylesford Organic turkey and all the accompanying trimmings delivered to your cottage. In the evenings, roast oysters over an open fire, served with hot toddies or iced tea.
Each stay includes access to The Club by Bamford for a moment of holistic wellbeing. One afternoon, a guided autumn walk will take you through the turning woodlands, with light bites and hot toddies along the way from the back of our Daylesford Defender.
A Cotswolds Thanksgiving Stay is bookable from Wednesday 26th November for a minimum of two nights. Prices are from £3,600 for two adults in one of our self-catering cottages, including Thanksgiving activities.
