Our hamlet of Cotswold cottages is nestled in the 2,500 acre Daylesford Estate, surrounded by picturesque Gloucestershire countryside.
The cottages, village hall, schoolhouse and church were rebuilt in 1868 by Harman Grisewood for his tenants. Constructed in local stone, the buildings are architecturally decorative, heavily influenced by the Tudor Gothic style. Just a stone’s throw away from Daylesford Organic Farm, the cottages overlook the rolling hills of the estate. Each self-contained cottage is individually furnished, retaining its own distinct character.
Our cottages have a two-night minimum stay.

Old School House is the largest of our cottages in Daylesford Village with a private garden and views across the Daylesford estate.

Originally the old schoolhouse for children of tenants who lived in Daylesford Village, Wisteria Cottage is the smallest in our hamlet. With one double bedroom, this cottage is the perfect bolthole for a couple. An open plan living space provides the perfect place to relax in front of the fireplace during cooler months, with a private garden to the rear for warmer days.

Furnished with every thought considered, Elm Cottage is self-contained with an AGA in the heart of the kitchen, a cosy fire in the open plan living space and gabled windows overlooking the village.
One of our smaller cottages, with a super kingsize bed in the master bedroom and a kingsize bed in the second bedroom, Elm Cottage provides the perfect base to while away hours in the countryside on your doorstep.

Lilac Cottage is a traditional estate cottage, with one super king size bedroom and a single room, ideal for a couple’s getaway or a small family. This self-contained cottage features an open plan kitchen living area with a fireplace for cooler days, and a private garden.

Medlar Cottage provides an idyllic setting to explore the surrounding Cotswold countryside. One of our larger cottages in the village, with two bedrooms with a kingsize bed and one single bedroom. The open plan living space and generous garden provide the ideal setting for entertaining friends and family.

Just a stone’s throw away from The Wild Rabbit, the Bantam is a cosy bolthole, ideal for single occupancy or perfect for a couple to explore the Cotswolds. Completely self-contained, with a fully equipped kitchen, it offers a luxurious king size bed for the ultimate night’s sleep.
